About Love Field Concessions
Dallas Love Field Joint Venture, Ltd., (DLFJV) has operated the
food and beverage concessions at Dallas Love Field since February 1, 1995.
Restaurants include two full-service Chili’s Too restaurants, two Cinnabon
Bakery units, the Antler Brew Pub, two food courts featuring deli sandwiches and
salads, Pizza Hut Express units, and a Dreyer’s Ice Cream shop. In 2006, an
affiliate was awarded the shoe shine concession contract. Dallas Love Field
Joint Venture, Ltd. also owns and operates Love Field Conference Center, which
includes meeting rooms and catered food service. DLFJV and all of its affiliates
are certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). The General Partner
of DLFJV is MultiRestaurants Concepts, Ltd.
Gilbert Aranza is the President of DLFJV and responsible for the
development, management, and strategic planning for the airport’s concession
operations. DLFJV is an affiliate of Star Concessions, Ltd. Star Concessions was
founded by Mr. Aranza, and he serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO. The
President of Star Concessions is Danny Bruce.
Approximately 200 exempt and non-exempt DLFJV employees work at
Dallas Love Field. About 90 percent are women and minority employees.
Love Field Partners 1, Ltd. will be the operating entity for half
of the food and beverage concessions in the airport’s expansion plans. In
addition to Gilbert Aranza, other minority owners are Darren Pace and Charles
Bush (25% ownership) and Women’s DBE Group, Ltd. (15% ownership), a woman-owned
partnership. Love Field Partners 1, Ltd. is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
